Who Are The Hantsfurs?
Started in 2000 and still going strong, the Hantsfurs are a group of furries located largely within Hampshire, UK. Ultimately however, furries are a very diverse group of people who have come together through their common interest in anthropomorphic animals (animals who exhibit human properties).
We have a mailing list which was founded back in 2000 to organise events, however much of the event organising and discussion has since migrated to the UKFur Forum.
Meets
The Hantsfurs meet up in locations within Hampshire (with some exceptions) periodically to socialise and put a face to the names behind the online personas. Meet activities generally depend on their location and can involve fursuiting, bowling, arcade gaming and socialising in pubs, bars and parks.
There are some semi regular meets; the Southampton fortnightly meet, the Basingstoke bowling meets and the annual Bournemouth meet. However, other random events occur and are announced on the forums or mailing list.
